Description
Paua are sea snails that live in the ocean shallows and rocky shorelines. They cling to rocks and feed on seaweed. Paua shellfish are prized for eating due to their large size and easy collection at the shoreline. The brightly coloured iridescent shells are used for many decorative purposes.
